Anthony Jackson (5'11''-PG-85) was the spark plug for the number one defensive team in the PBL this season. Anthony Jackson averaged 4.1 steals a game this season for the Mavericks as they led the PBL with over 18 steals a game on average. While not only playing the passing lanes, Anthony Jackson held the players he guarded to 6 points under their average and grabbed almost 5 rebounds a game. 'Anthony was truly a force on the court this season,' said PBL Commissioner, Dennis Truax. 'He was such a force defensively all season for the Mavericks. He was a prime reason the Mavericks had the best defense statistically all season and why opposing players had such trouble on the offensive end. His reputation as a stopper and defensive stalwart was warranted, and this award is proof positive to his abilities.'
