With rosters in place, team front office and coaching staff are focusing on the pre-season tournament in December. The current NBA lockout has pushed the Premier Basketball League into the spot light as the leading independent basketball league going into the upcoming sports season. 'The season is only a few weeks away, we're glad to see the teams finalizing their list of players,' commented Carrie Ann May, PBL Vice President of Operations. 'The teams are coming together and are really making a collaborative effort to do what is best for not only their individual teams, but also the league as a whole.' The lottery placed the teams in the draft order as follows:
