J.T. Burton has been named the men's basketball coach at Tusculum College announced vice president of student success and athletics Doug Jones. Coach J.T. Burton will be introduced to the Tusculum community at a press conference on Thursday. J.T. Pete Herrmann set to resign as Head Basketball Coach at Young Harris College - 2 days ago has learned that Young Harris College head basketball coach Pete Herrmann will resign. A 5:00pm press conference has been scheduled to make the announcement. Herrmann, a coaching veteran, was the head coach at Navy (1986-1992), where he coached future NBA Hall of Famer David Robinson. Herrmann also served as an assistant at Kansas State, Virginia, Western Kentucky and Georgia (where he also served as the interim head coach).
