Newly promoted Iraqi Airways (Superleague) tabbed American forward Muhammed Ahmed (203-100kg). He just graduated from Bridgeport (NCAA2). In 25 games he averaged 14.4ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1bpg last season. He can count that year as a very successful as was selected to All-ECC 2nd Team.
As mentioned above Ahmed is just out of the college and it will be his first season in pro basketball.
He played in the final of NJCAA D1 Region IX in 2014.
