New Mexico Highlands hires Sean Pryor as Associate Head Coach - Aug 23, 2016

Sean Pryor
Head coach Craig Snow and New Mexico Highlands have added Sean Pryor to staff as associate head coach. Pryor, a native of Chicago, Illinois, comes to New Mexico Highlands after spending the past five years as an assistant coach at Chicago State University. Prior to working at Chicago State, Pryor Corey Tate's lead assistant in the junior college ranks at Mineral Area College (MO). Pryor played collegiately at Oregon State. "I am very excited to get Sean in our program. He is very experienced and comes from Chicago State where he has been an assistant the past five years. Sean is very respected not only in Chicago but also in many different regions. I feel very fortunate to have him joining our team. His track record in academic support is outstanding and he will help make sure the guys stay on track to earn their degree," said Snow in a statement.

Barry University men's basketball team won its second straight road game, beating Florida Tech, 95-90, Wednesday night. It was the Buccaneers' third straight win overall, and it evened the season series with the Panthers. Florida Tech beat Barry in the earlier meeting in Miami Shores. Leading 79-77 with one minute left, Colorado State University-Pueblo Men's Basketball, could not close out New Mexico Highlands University, as the Cowboys bested the ThunderWolves 83-81 Tuesday at the John A. Shooting 50 percent from 3-point range, the No. 4-ranked Western Oregon University men's basketball team extended its winning streak to 13 games with an 86-72 victory at home against Concordia University on Tuesday.
