New Mexico Highlands hires Sean Pryor as Associate Head Coach - Aug 23, 2016

Sean Pryor
Head coach Craig Snow and New Mexico Highlands have added Sean Pryor to staff as associate head coach. Pryor, a native of Chicago, Illinois, comes to New Mexico Highlands after spending the past five years as an assistant coach at Chicago State University. Prior to working at Chicago State, Pryor Corey Tate's lead assistant in the junior college ranks at Mineral Area College (MO). Pryor played collegiately at Oregon State. "I am very excited to get Sean in our program. He is very experienced and comes from Chicago State where he has been an assistant the past five years. Sean is very respected not only in Chicago but also in many different regions. I feel very fortunate to have him joining our team. His track record in academic support is outstanding and he will help make sure the guys stay on track to earn their degree," said Snow in a statement.

Northwest Missouri State has pulled off the double. The Bearcats defeated Fairmont State 71-61 victory for the NCAA Division II men's basketball championship on Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D. Northwest became the first Division II program to win football and men's basketball titles in the same school year. The Bearcats finished the season 35-1.
