Nigel Hayes
The Wisconsin Badgers have upset the reigning national champion and No. 1 overall seed Villanova Wildcats 65-62 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Badgers previously defeated a No. 1 seed in 2014 when they defeated Arizona in the quarterfinals and then shocked No. 1 seed Kentucky in the 2015 Final Four. In the final seconds of the game, Nigel Hayes (6'8''-F-94) hit a baseline shot that left the Wildcats with 11.4 seconds to tie or win the game. Villanova was unable to score and fouled Vito Brown to add another point off a free throw. Hayes led the Badgers with 19 points and eight rebounds. Josh Hart (6'5''-G-95) led Villanova with 19 points. Wisconsin will play the winner of Florida vs. Virginia in the Sweet 16.

Berry scores 29 points as No. 9 UNC beats Stanford 96-72 - 5 hours ago

He showed up at Maples Pavilion more than a half-hour before his teammates for Monday's shootaround, putting up some 200 extra shots from all over the floor - and it worked wonderfully. Berry scored 29 points, Kenny Williams (6'4''-G) posted career highs with 20 points and six 3-pointers, and No. 9 North Carolina beat Stanford 96-72 on Monday night in a matchup of Roy Williams ag...   [read more]

Milwaukee Tops Elon at Buzzer - 21 hours ago
Milwaukee, WI - Trailing by 17 points at halftime to a sharp-shooting Elon Phoenix team, the Milwaukee Panthers flipped the switch and scored on a put-back jump shot by Jeremy Johnson(6'3''-G) with one second left in the game to defeat the Phoenix 72-71 in a highly entertaining game in Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon. Johnson connected on his game-winning shot in the middle of the paint after the 6-3 sophomore collected a rebound from teammate's Bryce Barnes' missed jumper. "We believe he...   [read more]
