N.C. State head coach Mark Gottfried will not return as head coach of the Wolfpack in 2017-18, NBC Sports has confirmed. Gottfried will finish the rest of the season as head coach. His job has come under pressure over the course of the last week due to some disappointing performances capping off a disappointing season. The Wolfpack are just 14-12 on the season and 3-10 in the ACC following a 97-73 loss at home against in-state rival North Carolina on Wednesday night. That loss came on the heels of a 30-point drubbing at Wake Forest. Gottfried, whose contract is worth $760,000 annually, has three years remaining.

Ben Lammers (6'10''-C-95) finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds for Georgia Tech, which will t...   [read more]

Chillious was promoted to the AHC role for Lorenzo Romar at UW last year. He first joined his staff in 2009 and was in his second stint with the program before Romar was fired after this past season. 'Raphael is one of the top assistant coaches in the country, and while he has a great reputation as a recru...   [read more]

Coastal Carolina cruises to 91-81 win over Wyoming in Game 1 of CBI Championship - 1 day ago
Coastal Carolina is one step closer to a CBI Championship after earning a 91-81 Game 1 win over Wyoming at the HTC Center. The Sun Belt squad has been impressive this postseason, winning the first three games this tournament by an average margin of 12 points per game. The offense was dominant once again to take an early advantage in the best-of-three-game final. Coastal Carolina used some quality balance to light up the scoreboard, finishing with six players in double figures in the win....   [read more]
