Jeremy
Hazell
Rookie Jeremy Hazell (6'5''-G-86, college: Seton Hall) is no longer a member of Lucentum Alicante. The Spanish team decided to release the 25-year-old guard. They immediately signed Tyrone Ellis as his replacement. Hazell joined Alicante during the pre-season. He appeared 6 times in Liga Endesa averaging 6.8 points. However, it seems that was not enough for the coaching staff to keep him. Jeremy Hazell graduated at the Seton Hall University this year. He had 19.8 ppg and 3.5 rpg for his school as a senior. Hazell was great as sophomore and junior as well. In 2008/09 season, he had impressive 2.27 ppg and 3.8 rpg for 32 games. Hazell was named All-Big East 3rd Team -09, 11.

Colorado Edges Xavier in Boulder - 17 hours ago

Boulder, CO - It was locally noted that the resume of 13th ranked Xavier Musketeers (7-2) includes 14 NCAA Tournament appearances in the last 15 seasons, six Sweet 16 visits and two appearances in the Elite Eight so one could see why playing against the University of Colorado Buffaloes would have an electric atmosphere. The Buffs (now at 7-2) seemed to be a team seeking consistency before beginning the Pac-12 conference season. Xavier is led by Preseason First Team All-Big East Conferenc...   [read more]

No. 7 North Carolina holds off Davidson 83-74 - 1 day ago

Justin Jackson (6'8''-F-95) buried shot after shot from behind the arc in the best performance of his career for No. 7 North Carolina. Coach Roy Williams didn't have much to feel good about otherwise. Jackson matched his career high with 27 points and hit a career-best seven 3-pointers to help the Tar Heels beat Davidson 83-74 on Wednesday night, though they struggled both to slow down high-scoring Wildcats guard Jack Gibbs (6'0''-G-95) and find much of a rhythm with top point guard Joel...   [read more]

Amile Jefferson's career night helps No. 4 Duke to win over No. 21 Florida - 2 days ago

Almost everybody in Madison Square Garden was impressed with the game Amile Jefferson (6'9''-F-93) had for No. 4 Duke. Nobody appreciated it more than Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski. Jefferson set career highs with 24 points and 15 rebounds to lead Duke to an 84-74 victory over No. 21 Florida on Tuesday night in the Jimmy V Classic. 'Amile played one of the great games,' Krzyzewski said. 'God bless him. He was fantastic.' Luke Kennard (6'5''-G-96) scored 29 points and freshman Jayson T...   [read more]
