London Lightning (NBL Canada) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American swingman Maurice Bolden (208-93kg-89, college: S.Mississippi). It is actually his comeback to London Lightning as he has played here before. Bolden He started the season at Austin Spurs (D-League) in the U.S. In 25 games he recorded 3.4ppg and 2.3rpg this season. The last season Bolden played at Windsor Express where in 46 NBL Canada games he averaged 10.0ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.7apg, 1.0spg and 1.5bpg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in NBL Canada Central Division. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to USBasket.com All-NBL Canada Honorable Mention.
Last year (four years after he left the college) Bolden was drafted by Austin Spurs (D-League) in first round (18th overall).
He attended University of Southern Mississippi until 2012 and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
Bolden won UBA championship title in 2012.
He has played also professionally in Cyprus (Ydra Asfalistiki ENAD Agios Dometios), Poland (Kotwica) and UBA (GIE Maile Matrix).
The scouts decsribe him following way: Strengths: talented offensive player.

In 21 games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.0ppg, 11.4rpg and 1.3apg last season. Windsor Express (NBL Canada) signed 29-year old American forward Devin White (203-98kg-88, college: SUNO). He played this summer at Nauticos of Mazatlan in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 15 games he had very impressive stats: 18.5ppg, 8.7rpg, 3.0apg and 1.4spg. The last season White played at MLP Academics Heidelberg in German ProA where in 35 games he recorded 8.5ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.4apg, 2.0spg (in top 5) and 1.2bpg.
