Nick Okorie
Niagara River Lions (NBL Canada) cut 29-year old American point guard Nick Okorie (185-88kg-88, college: Texas Tech). In two NBL Canada games he averaged impressive 18.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 3.0apg this season. Okorie also played earlier that season for The Storm where in 20 NBL Canada games he had very remarkable stats: 16.7ppg, 2.4rpg and 4.1apg.
He is a very experienced player. Okorie has played also professionally in Austria (Raiffeisen Wels), Denmark (Aalborg), Finland (Salon Vilpas), Germany (Saar Pfalz Braves) and Canada (Power and London Lightning).
He attended Texas Tech University until 2010 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Okorie's outlook: Can play in both guard positions, thaks to solid body, good court vision an passing skils. He's a good scorer with outside and inside dimension, shoots well free throws. Also, he's a tough defender who can earn lots of steals.
Very quick. Can run on the basket against taller players
