Ottley
Kitchener-Waterloo Titans (NBL Canada) signed 26-year old forward Anthony Ottley (6'6''-F-91, college: Red Deer) after he was tested there shortly from Niagara River Lions. But in two NBL Canada games he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound and 1 assist.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Ottley's team was regular season runner-up in Canadian NBBL in 2015. He was also voted All-ACAC South Division 2nd Team in 2016 at his college time.
Ottley has played previously for three other teams: Lancers, Spartans and BSN.
He attended Red Deer College until 2016 and it is his first season as a professional player.

Mike Poole (6'6''-G/F-92, college: Iona) had an offensively perfect game for the Halifax Hurricanes on Sunday. And for good measure he hit a floater driving the lane to give the Hurricanes their first lead late in the third quarter en route to a 108-104 victory over the Cape Breton Highlanders at Centre 200 on Sunday afternoon. 'You know sometimes the...   [read more]

In the battle between the top two teams in the National Basketball League of Canada, the London Lightning rode a second-half surge to a 116-103 victory over St. John's on Thursday night at Budweiser Gardens. London is now 1.5 games ahead of the Edge, atop the Central Division and league standings with a record of 17-8. The victory was the third in a row for the Lightning as they get set to play a doubleheader at home with the fifth place K-W Titans. London received a huge spark off the be...   [read more]
