Windsor Express (NBL Canada) released 25-year old American guard Brandan Kearney (198-86kg-92, college: Detroit Mercy). In 10 NBL Canada games he had 6.6ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.5apg this season.
Two years ago Kearney was drafted by Moncton Miracles (NBL Canada) as #2 pick overall.
He attended University of Detroit Mercy until 2015 and it is his second season in pro basketball.
Kearney's college team won Big Ten Tournament in 2012.
He represented USA at the 3x3 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore seven years ago.

After falling to the Island Storm in their barn three days earlier, the Hurricanes returned the favour Wednesday night. Halifax pulled off a 105-100 win over the Storm at the Scotiabank Centre to improve its Atlantic Division-leading record to 23-7. Windsor Express waive Smart - 1 day ago
Windsor Express (NBL Canada) waived 26-year old Vincentian ex-international center Akeme Smart (221-104kg-91, college: McCook CC). Smart managed to play in three leagues in two countries this year.
