River Lions part ways with NBL, join new league - 8 days ago
The Niagara River Lions have withdrawn from the National Basketball League of Canada in favour of a new circuit founded by the club's CEO, the newly formed Canadian Elite Basketball League. River Lions CEO Richard Petko is the founder of the new league, which will begin its season in May of 2019.
