Summerside Storm (NBL Canada) inked 23-year old American forward Brandon Robinson (198-86kg-89, college: Clayton & State). He already started the season at Halifax Rainmen (NBL Canada). In 12 games this season he averaged 14.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg. The last season Robinson played at Oshawa Power. In 36 NBL Canada games last year he was the best scorer with impressive 19.9ppg and recorded 6.8rpg, 2.6apg and 1.6spg. He also played at Marietta in SEBL earlier that season. He helped them to win the Metro A-League North Division title. The other team Robinson played shortly was Slam in UBA. In only one game he had very impressive stats: 24 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. He received USBasket.com All-NBL Canada 2nd Team award in 2012.
Robinson has played previously for another UBA team Cincinnati Slam.
He attended Clayton & State until 2011 and it will be his second season in pro basketball.

Maurice Jones (5'7''-PG-91, college: Northwood) scored 28 points in the Windsor Express' 108-91 win over the London Knights Saturday night at Budweiser Gardens. Windsor evens its record on the young NBLC season to 3-3 while the Lightning fall to 2-5. Maurice Jones (5'7''-PG-91, college: Northwood) scored 26 points, but the Windsor Express lost to the Hurricanes 120-102 in Halifax Thursday night. The Express fall to 2-3 on the season with the loss, their second in a row after dropping a squeaker Wednesday at Cape Breton. Halifax got off to a fast start in the first quarter but Windsor made up much of it and trailed 56-48 at the half. In the first home game in franchise history, the St. John's Edge came out on top against the Niagara River Lions in front of a sellout crowd of 4,800 fans Friday night.
