Halifax Rainmen (NBL Canada) released 23-year old American forward Brandon Robinson (198-86kg-89, college: Clayton & State). In 12 NBL Canada games he played this season he had 14.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg.
The last season Robinson played at Oshawa Power. In 36 NBL Canada games last year he was the best scorer with impressive 19.9ppg and averaged 6.8rpg, 2.6apg and 1.6spg. He also played at Marietta in SEBL that season. He helped them to win the Metro A-League North Division title. The other team Robinson played shortly was Slam in UBA. In only one game he recorded very impressive stats: 24 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. he was voted USBasket.com All-NBL Canada 2nd Team in 2012.
Robinson has played previously for another UBA team Cincinnati Slam.
He attended Clayton & State until 2011 and it is his second season as a professional player.

Royce White (6'8''-F-91, college: Iowa St.) scored 24 points as the London Lightning regained control of their Central Division Finals series. The Lightning dominated the fourth quarter in their 101-86 win over the Edge in St. John's Saturday night. The win gives London a 2-1 lead in their best-of-seven finals series. The Halifax Hurricanes performed some fourth-quarter magic over Moncton at home Thursday night, overcoming a 17-point deficit to take the opener of the National Basketball League of Canada Atlantic Division Final 107-97.
