Moncton Miracles (NBL Canada) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American guard Mikhail Torrance (196-95kg-88, college: Alabama). He played most recently at Bay Area Matrix (ABA) in the U.S.. In 19 games last season he recorded very impressive stats: 22.6ppg, 7.3rpg and 9.5apg. Torrance also played at Orman Genc in Turkish TB2L that season. In 12 games last year he averaged 10.1ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.6apg. He was voted to All-SEC 2nd Team in 2010.
Torrance attended University of Alabama until 2010 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.

Jermaine Dailey (ex Obregon) joins KW Titans - 20 hours ago

KW Titans (NBL Canada) added to their roster 30-year old American power forward Jermaine Dailey (203-95kg-86, college: Ill.-Chicago). He played last summer at Obregon in Mexican CIBACOPA, but left. In two games he had 5.5ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.5spg and 1.5bpg. The last season Dailey played at Santos (LNBP) in Mexican league where in 19 games he recorded 8.6ppg, 7.6rpg and 1.4spg. Julian Boyd (ex Porvoon Tarmo) signs at London Lightning - 2 days ago

London Lightning (NBL Canada) landed 26-year old American forward Julian Boyd (201-104kg-90, college: LIU Brooklyn). He played most recently at Porvoon Tarmo in Finnish 1st Division. In 30 games he averaged impressive 20.7ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.8apg, 2.0spg and 1.2bpg last season. Boyd helped them to make it to the semifinals. Nick Okorie
Okorie is back at the Storm - 2 days ago

Island Storm (NBL Canada) agreed terms with 28-year old American point guard Nick Okorie (185-88kg-88, college: Texas Tech). It is actually his comeback to The Storm as he has played here before. Okorie played last season at London Lightning in Canadian NBL. In 48 NBL Canada games he had 12.6ppg, 2.4rpg and 3.8apg. He helped them to win the NBL Central Division title (twice) (also twice).
