THe Moncton Miracles have announced today that they have released 6-3 guard Jeremy Alleyne, Miracles management want to thank JEREMY for his contribution to the team this season and wish him well in his future career.The Miracles had an opportunity to improve their roster with the addition of Micah Brand. Micah a 6-10 center will be the Canadian newcomer to the Miracles roster. Brand played his college ball at the University of Massachusetts and began the season with the Saint Johns Mill Rats.

The Niagara River Lions refuse to go down without a fight. With four games left in the regular season, the River Lions entered Friday night's game at Meridian Centre knowing they couldn't lose. And seven periods of basketball later - a franchise record - the Lions outlasted the Moncton Miracles 141-137 in triple overtime. The 141 points were also a franchise record. Orangeville A's (NBL Canada) landed 26-year old American point guard Tyshawn Patterson (185-79kg-91, college: N.Greenville) from Niagara River Lions. In 28 NBL Canada games in Canada he averaged 10.5ppg, 3.1rpg and 2.0apg this season.
