The Oshawa Power, currently 5-4 and sitting in second place of the NBL Canada's Central Division have activated rookie forward Kirk Williams, Jr. (6'6''-F). Williams, Jr, a product of Bridgeport University by way of Longwood (Va.) suffered an ACL injury after his senior season at Bridgeport and this will be his professional debut. During the 2009-10 season at Bridgeport Williams averaged 13.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals while providing high-light reel athleticism for the NCAA DII school. He found similar success at Longwood University prior to transferring after his Junior year. Williams suffered his injury prior to playing for UBC Meunsters in Germany and has been showcasing his talents through out New York's famed Summer League tournaments the past two years, working on his professional comeback.
To make room on the roster, the Power released rookie guard Michael Culpo (6'1''-G-89, college: LIU Brooklyn). A products of Long Island University, Culpo appeared in eight games, averaging 6.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals.

Island Storm (NBL Canada) confirmed in their roster 30-year old American forward Tirrell Baines (198-100kg-86, college: Marshall, agency: Interperformances). He played there last season. In 28 NBL Canada games he had 12.5ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.5apg. In 2011 Baines was drafted by Erie BayHawks (D-League) in fourth round (10th overall). London Lightning (NBL Canada) confirmed in their roster forward Taylor Black (198-104kg). He played there last season. But in 16 NBL Canada games he had just 1.8ppg and 1.1rpg. Black's team won OUA Central Division Regular Season in 2015. He previously for Marauders. London Lightning (NBL Canada) confirmed in their roster 27-year old American guard Marcus Capers (193-86kg-89, college: Washington State, agency: Interperformances). He played there last season. In 55 NBL Canada games he had 4.9ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.9apg and 1.0bpg. Capers helped them to win the NBL Central Division title.
