Greg Carter
The Toronto 3D Basketball Club helps sign point guard Greg Carter (5'10''-G-90) to the Niagara Riverlions of the National Basketball League of Canada. Greg becomes the 3rd player to sign a professional basketball contract from the 3D program in one year!
After his playing days at Lakehead University, Greg Carter (5'10''-G-90) was recruited into the Toronto 3D program and immediately fit in with the team's chemistry and vision. The 3D provided the plateau and opportunity to not only work on getting his game back, but more significantly, to re-motivate his inner drive of becoming a professional basketball player and making an impact at the highest levels.
Greg was coached by the recent NBA D-League Coach of the year Scott Morrison who had this to say about Greg's recent signing:

'Greg Carter (5'10''-G-90) helped make history at Lakehead University as one of the key members of a group that took the basketball program to one the worst in Canada to a small elite group of the top teams in the CIS. From the moment he stepped on campus he was a game changer due to his defensive presence on the ball combined with his toughness and leadership. He remains one of the greatest defensive players in CIS history and I look forward to following the next stage of his career in Niagara with Coach Murray at the helm.'

Greg has represented the 3D in some of the top leagues locally such as, NBBL and the GTA Pro-Am. He also played pro exhibition games against Fort Wayne of the CBA and even traveled across to the States with the team to participate in the pro IBA league in 2014.
Most recently, Greg embarked on a World Invitational Basketball Tournament in China where he experienced being the team's point guard, representing Canada vs Cairns Taipans of Australia, the NBA D-League's Iowa Energy, and the Chinese National B Team. Click to see Boxscores.

Greg's CIS accolades:
-2 Time CIS Canadian Defensive Player of the Year
-4 Time OUA Defensive MVP
-CIS Silver Medalist in 2013 vs Carleton Ravens in the Finals.
