Troy
Williams
Houston Rockets (NBA) agreed terms with 23-year old small forward Troy Williams (201-93kg-94, college: Indiana). It is actually his comeback to the Rockets as he has played here before. He just played at Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In four D-League games he had very impressive stats: 21.8ppg, 5.0rpg and 3.5apg this season. Williams was called during the season by the Houston Rockets. He also played earlier that season for another team Iowa Energy where in 23 D-League games he recorded 12.8ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.1apg.
Williams has never been drafted by the NBA.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Big Ten Regular Season in 2016. Williams was also voted All-Big Ten 3rd Team in 2016 at his college time.
Williams has played previously for Memphis Grizzlies.
He attended Indiana University until 2016 and it is his first season as a professional player.

Rockets stuff Warriors in thrilling Game 5 to take 3-2 series lead - 50 minutes ago
The red t-shirts that canvassed the Toyota Center stands proved prophetic: Houston Strong indeed. The Rockets find themselves just one win away from a monumental upset of the Golden State Warriors after a 98-94 win in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals on Thursday. LeBron James (6'8''-SF-84) is tired. The young Boston Celtics seem to be getting stronger. Rookie Jayson Tatum (6'8''-F-98, college: Duke) scored 24 points - his ninth 20-point game of the postseason - and Boston beat Cleveland 96-83 on Wednesday night to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference finals. The Celtics held James to two fourth-quarter points, earning their 10th straight victory in Boston to remain perfect at home this postseason and move within one win of their...   [read more]
