Thunder blast Cavaliers to keep LeBron from milestone - 15 hours ago
LeBron James (6'8''-SF-84) came up just short of 30,000 points. Oklahoma City nearly got there, too. Unable to stop Paul George (6'9''-G/F-90, college: Fresno St.), Russell Westbrook (6'3''-PG-88, college: UCLA) or Carmelo Anthony (6'8''-SF-84, college: Syracuse), the Cavaliers were embarrassed 148-124 on Saturday by the Thunder, who not only rolled to their fourth straight win but kept James shy of a historic milestone. George scored 36 points, Westbrook had 23 and 20 assists and Anthony...   [read more]

Olynyk's late FT helps Heat stun Hornets 106-105 - 15 hours ago
Kelly Olynyk (7'0''-PF-91, college: Gonzaga) scored 14 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter, including a free throw with 0.2 seconds left, to help the Miami Heat erase a five-point deficit in the final 34 seconds and stun the Charlotte Hornets 106-105 on Saturday night. Wayne Ellington (6'4''-G-87, college: N.Carolina) had 26 points on six 3-pointers, James Johnson (6'9''-F-87, college: Wake Forest) had 22 points and Olynyk was brilliant down the stretch. Nicolas Batum (6'8''-SF-88) sco...   [read more]

Hardaway scores 31, Knicks topple Jazz 117-115 - 1 day ago
Tim Hardaway Jr. (6'6''-G-92, college: Michigan) Jr. had his best game Friday night since returning from a leg injury that sidelined him for more than a month. The New York Knicks needed all of it, too. Hardaway scored 31 points as the Knicks rallied for a 117-115 victory over the Utah Jazz. "I think I'm just getting accustomed to everything, getting my feet wet, getting my rhythm back," he said. "It's one game. It felt good. Came here yesterday with some of the guys. Got a lot of shots a...   [read more]
