Boston Celtics inked 25-year old point guard Shane Larkin (180-80kg-92, college: Miami, FL). He was about to sign at FC Barcelona in Spanish Liga Endesa. The last season Larkin played at Baskonia (also in Liga Endesa) where in 37 games he averaged 14.1ppg, 3.1rpg, 4.9apg (top 5) and 1.4spg (in top 5). He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was awarded All-Spanish Liga Endesa Import Player of the Year, selected to All-Imports Team and selected to 2nd Team. Larkin also played 33 games in Euroleague where he had 13.1ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.7apg and 1.3spg. He contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals.
In 2013 Larkin was drafted by Atlanta Hawks in first round (18th overall). The former University of Miami, Florida standoutis in his fifth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Larkin's college team won ACC Tournament in 2013. He received also HS 6A Player of the Year runner up award back in 2010 and 2011.
Larkin has played previously for four other NBA teams: Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks and Texas Legends.
