Bobby Brown
Houston Rockets (NBA) re-signed 33-year old former international point guard Bobby Brown (188-79kg-84, college: CS Fullerton). He played there last season. In 30 NBA games he averaged just 2.9ppg. Brown helped them to make it to the conference semifinals.
He ended the previous (2015-16) season at Besiktas in Turkish BSL where in 6 games he had very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 2.3rpg and 4.5apg. But the most of that year Brown spent at Leopards in Chinese CBA. In 37 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 29.2ppg, 4.7rpg, 6.3apg and 1.1spg. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to All-Chinese CBA Honorable Mention.
He has never been drafted by the NBA.
Among other achievements Brown won Italian SerieA championship title in 2013. He received also All-Panamerican Games 1st Team award in 2015.
Brown represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Toronto (Canada) two years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 5 games: Score-5 (17.6ppg), 2.6rpg, Assists-2 (4.4apg), FGP: 45.9%, 3PT: 35.3%, FT: 85.7%.
Brown is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Brown has played previously professionally in Germany (ALBA Berlin and EWE Baskets), Greece (Aris), Poland (Asseco), other NBA teams (LA Clippers and Sacramento Kings) and Italy (Mens Sana 1871 Siena).
He attended California State University, Fullerton until 2007 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Brown's outlook: A very athletic combo guard with great scoring and leaping ability. He improved his quarterbacking skills over last season overseas and seems now ready for the top level.

Aldridge's double-double fuels Spurs by Warriors, 89-75 - 10 hours ago
LaMarcus Aldridge (6'11''-F/C-85, college: Texas) continued to lead the way for the Spurs, who are trying to find a way to remain in the playoffs. Aldridge had 33 points and 12 rebounds, and San Antonio blew a 16-point lead to the injury-ravaged Golden State Warriors before pulling away for an 89-75 victory on Monday night. "I'm a leader, so I have to do what we need," Aldridge said. "Playing defense, blocking shots, scoring. It all comes with it." San Antonio beat Golden State for the fi...   [read more]

Kevin Love returns, LeBron James shines in Cavaliers' 124-117 win over Bucks - 10 hours ago
The Cavaliers' coach is gone but their All-Star center is back and he was enough for a nice win on Monday. Kevin Love (6'10''-PF-88, college: UCLA) returned after missing the last 21 games with a broken bone in his left hand and scored 18 points in the Cavs' 124-117 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. LeBron James (6'8''-SF-84), well, he hasn't missed a game this season. He only scored 40 points with 12 rebounds and 10 assists for his second straight triple double and third in the last four gam...   [read more]

New Orleans Pelicans' Frank Jackson has another foot surgery, won't debut this season - 10 hours ago
The New Orleans Pelicans say rookie guard Frank Jackson (6'3''-G-98, college: Duke) won't make his NBA debut this season after having follow-up surgery to remove residual scar tissue from earlier right foot operations. The Pelicans say Jackson also received an injection in his foot. The club says a specialist in New York handled Jackson's latest procedure. The Pelicans acquired the 6-foot-4 Jackson through a draft-night trade with the Charlotte Hornets, who selected the former Duke player...   [read more]
