Marcus Morris' 3 Lifts Celtics Over Thunder, 100-99 - 16 hours ago
The Celtics have spent most of the past month short-handed, with several of their key players sidelined by injuries. It didn't stop them from finding a way to stun one of the league's hottest teams. Marcus Morris (6'9''-F-89, college: Kansas) made a 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds left and the Boston shocked the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-99 on Tuesday night. "Probably my biggest (shot)," Morris said. "I've hit a couple to tie it up. But was my first actual to win it." Jayson Tatum (6'8''-F-98,...   [read more]

James Harden (6'5''-SG-89, college: Arizona St.) says he's constantly working on his step-back 3-pointer. It paid off against Portland. Harden scored 42 points, including a pair of 3s down the stretch, and the Houston Rockets snapped the Trail Blazers' 13-game winning streak with a 115-111 victory on Tuesday night. "This doesn't just happen," Harden said about his shot from distance. "I am constantly working on it every day, every single day. I am trying to get better and improve. I'm sti...   [read more]

Bucks Have Jeff Van Gundy, Kevin McHale On List Of Head Coach Candidates - 17 hours ago
The Milwaukee Bucks fired Jason Kidd as head coach in January and elevated Joe Prunty to the job on an interim basis. The Bucks are unlikely to retain Prunty unless they win a playoff series. If the Bucks do move on from Prunty, the belief is they want to make a big splash with their head coaching hire. Sources say Jeff van Gundy and Kevin McHale are already on Milwaukee's list of candidates. Monty Williams , David Fizdale have also been mentioned as likely candidates. Rick Pitino could a...   [read more]
