Calderon
Atlanta Hawks signed experienced 36-year old Spaniard international point guard Jose Manuel Calderon (190-95kg-81). He played recently at LA Lakers, but was released by the team last month. In 24 NBA games he had 3.3ppg, 1.7rpg and 2.1apg this season. The last season Calderon played at the Knicks where in 72 NBA games he recorded 7.6ppg, 3.2rpg and 4.1apg.
He has never been drafted by the NBA.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Calderon was voted Eurobasket.com All-Europeans 2nd Team back in 2007, 2009 and 2014.
He has been also a member of Spanish international program for some years. Calderon has regularly played for Spanish senior team since 2002 and previously for U21 National Team in 2001.
He represented Spain at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) last year. Calderon's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 4 games: 2.3ppg.
Calderon has played previously professionally in other NBA teams (Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors) and Spain (Baskonia, Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and Meridiano Alicante).
It's very possible he may end his playing career at the Hawks.
Calderon could be described: Has a very good shoot but still has to improve his three pointer shooting. Has good court sense and playmaking ability; hes very stong, a good athlete and a very good leaper;.

Defense found: Bucks overwhelm Celtics for 116-92 win - 20 hours ago
Length and athleticism make the Milwaukee Bucks a dangerous team with the ball. When they defend the way they did on Friday night against the Boston Celtics, they're nearly unstoppable. Khris Middleton (6'8''-F-91, college: Texas A&M) scored 23 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo (6'11''-G/F-94, agency: Octagon Europe) added 19 and the Bucks used a dominating first half to overwhelm the Celtics 116-92, narrowing their deficit in the first-round playoff series to 2-1. Eric Bledsoe (6'1''-PG-89,...   [read more]

Second-half surge lifts Pacers to 92-90 win over Cavaliers in Game 3 - 20 hours ago
The Indiana Pacers kept insisting this team was different. Anyone who doubted them coming into the playoffs understands now. On Friday, the one-year anniversary of a historic playoff collapse against Cleveland, Indiana flipped the script by rallying from a 17-point halftime deficit and held on for a 92-90 victory over the Cavaliers to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. They can take command of the series by winning Sunday on their home court. 'Last year's team, I don't know if w...   [read more]
