Lakers tab 26-year old Wesley Johnson (6'7''-F/G-87, college: Syracuse) for the next season. He played last time at Phoenix Suns. In 50 games he averaged 8.0ppg and 2.5rpg last season. Johnson also spent pre-season at the Timberwolves that year. In 2011-2012 he played for Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) and showed 6.0ppg, 2.7rpg, FGP: 45.7%, 3PT: 31.7%, FT: 70.6%.In 2012 July Wesley participated ta the NBA Pro Summer League in Las Vegas (Minnesota Timberwolves). In 4 games he had high 20.5ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.3apg. Three years ago Minnesota Timberwolves selected him as fourth overall pick in NBA draft. Wesley Johnson attended Syracuse University until 2010 and it may be his fourth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements his team won Big East Regular Season in 2010. Johnson was selected to NBA All-Star Game All-Rookie Team in 2011.
