Forward D.J. White (6'9''-F-86, college: Indiana) has signed a multi-year contract with the Boston Celtics, the team announced Wednesday. The 6-foot-9 White originally signed a 10-day contract with Boston on Feb. 28 and has since appeared in four games. Over the course of those contests, White has averaged 2.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 6.8 minutes per game. The Indiana product also has played for Oklahoma City and Charlotte after being selected by Detroit with the 29th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.

Atlanta Hawks waived 24-year old forward Richard Solomon (208-107kg-92, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports). The last season Solomon played at Toyota Alvark in NBL where in 59 games he recorded 11.3ppg and 8.9rpg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. Things just won't go right for the Philadelphia 76ers and their rookies. The Sixers announced Friday night that No. 1 overall pick Benjamin Simmons (6'10''-F-96, college: LSU) has a fracture in his right foot. Houston Rockets (NBA) added to their training camp roster 24-year old guard P.J. Hairston (198-100kg-92, college: N.Carolina) from Memphis Grizzlies. In 20 NBA games he had 6.5ppg and 2.3rpg last season. Hairston also played for the Hornets where in 48 NBA games he recorded 6.0ppg and 2.7rpg.
