The Boston Celtics have assigned center Fabricio Melo (7'0''-C-90, college: Syracuse) to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws. Melo, a 7'0'' center, averaged 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in 23.4 minutes over five games for the Red Claws. Melo recorded a high of 14 points against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on November 25 and recorded a high of 11 rebounds against the Los Angeles D-Fenders on November 30.

Milwaukee Bucks signed 24-year old guard Malcolm Brogdon (196-100kg-92). He just graduated from Virginia (NCAA). Brogdon has played there for the last five years. In 35 games he had very impressive stats: 18.4ppg, 4.0rpg and 3.0apg last season. Brogdon helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Team USA - Venezuela 80:45 Team USA scored another victory in their preparations for the upcoming Olympic Games. They rolled past Venezuela at the United Centre in Chicago. Kyrie Irving (6'3''-G-92, college: Duke) and Klay Thompson (6'7''-G-90, college: Washington St.) posted 13 points apiece for the hosts. Team USA earned a 20:12 lead after the opening frame.
