San Antonio Spurs (NBA) tabbed 25-year old American forward Derrick Brown (203-103kg-87, college: Xavier) by signing him to a non-guaranteed contract. Brown has played for last 3 years at Charlotte Bobcats (NBA) where he was drafted in 2009 in 2nd round (40 overall). In 65 NBA games he averaged 8.1ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.0apg last season.
He graduated from Xavier University in 2009 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
