He has great athleticism as shown by his winning performance in the NCAA slam dunk competition. In 24games in Belgium avg. (23.9ppg) as the top scorer proving that he is highly capable of doing the same in Europe..

Q: What are you working on to get back in the NBA?
'well i've been a scorer my entire life. this particular season i wanted to perfect the pick and roll and explore every option from it. so i have been putting in extra work with that part of my game. I also wanted to make my 3 point shot more consistent and I believe that I have accomplished that as well.i go into every season with the mind set of getting better everyday. i post the phrase 'get better everyday' in my locker, on my gym bag, writen in perminate maker on my workout basketball, you name it its probably somewhere close (Emmett, laughing). i would love to play in the nba again,... and i feel it is important to continue to improve my skills and let GOD place me.'

Q: How do you feel that playig in the CBA has benefit your career?
'i was offered the opportunity to play european countries as well as the CBA this season. i figured playing in the CBA was better for me because the season in length is the same as the nba season and the challenge it presented with more nba players as well as the chinese players who have played in the olympic. the CBA has nearly doubles the amount of games than european countries play and i wanted to get as much experience as possible in game situations. playing at a high level against experienced players has allowed me to develope my overall game.'

Q: What is one thing you truly miss about being away from home?
'my beeeeeed, (Emmett, laughing). my bed here in china is sooo hard. first thing im going do when i get back is flop down in my bed; of course, after hugging and kissing moms. she dont play that. im close with my family and friends, and being away its not all that easy. so i look forward to spending time with them when i return.'
