Chris Wright
OKC's D-League high-flyer Chris Wright is hosting a Pro Exposure Camp in Dayton, Ohio, between June 30th to July 2nd, to help propel athletes who are looking to start or continue their professional careers.

Wright, a former University of Dayton forward with stints in the NBA, D-League, Euroleague and EuroCup -- including a 2016 championship ring with Maccabi Rishon Lezion of the Israeli Association -- has gathered a selective group of professional coaches from overseas, with NBA and Euro coaches and players to partake in his camp. Guests include Sharon Drucker , a 15-plus year veteran and architect of winning teams in Israel, Russia and Greece on the highest levels outside the NBA. Drucker won the 2004 EuroCup and 2005 EuroChallenge titles, and formed Wright's winning squad from 2016. Also invited is former NBA guard Jannero Pargo, who played overseas for David Blatt, and is a former 14-year NBA veteran.

"This camp will give players the opportunity to play and compete in front of scouts and coaches from the NBA, Europe, the D-League and South America. Strategically and hand selected coaches with NBA and international experience that knows exactly what it takes to exceed expectations at the highest of levels," Wright said. "You will be able to display your professionalism on and off the court which goes a long way with management."

The camp will provide three days filled with breakfast, motivational speaking (business, finances, and post career planning), proper dieting exercising, yoga, doctor evaluation of players injured or experiencing discomfort with their body, followed by lunch and ending with drills and five on five play.

Wright has conquered the importance of being a person of high character and exemplifying what a true professional should look like. He knows that one day the ball will stop bouncing and makes a cautious effort to spread awareness on career goals and future planning for life after sports. Although he is still in the prime of his career, he has a strong passion for helping others try and reach their goals.

Red Claws lose to Canton in overtime - 4 days ago
In the Maine Red Claws' three-game winning streak to open the season, reserves Daniel Dixon (6'6''-G-94, college: William & Mary) and Trey Davis (6'0''-PG-93, college: Massachusetts) hadn't consistently found their groove from beyond the 3-point arc. Other than Dixon's 4-for-5 effort in the season opener, the two guards combined to shoot 27.7 percent. So when they helped the Red Claws rally from a 17-point third-quarter deficit Sunday against the Canton Charge by hitting nine 3-pointers i...   [read more]
