OKLAHOMA CITY - A week after sinking a shot that captivated the basketball world and gave the Mid-America Christian University Evangels their first-ever NAIA National Championship, junior guard Malcolm Mann has been selected as the OklahomaSports.Net (OSN) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Mann's shot was featured on ESPN Sportscenter's "Top 10" countdown last Tuesday night (Mar. 22) at number three and it finished off a career-high 23 points.

The Plano, Texas native took the ball with the Evangels down 99-98 to top-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) with four seconds remaining and drove the court to put up a shot that rolled around the rim and in as time expired that set off a national championship celebration.

Mann also scored 14 points and dished out seven assists in the Evangels' 93-89 victory over Campbellsville (Ky.) in the NAIA national semifinals on Monday night (Mar. 21).

For the season, Mann set a school record (as an NAIA school) with 184 assists on the year.
