The DuBois Dream couldn't have scripted a more fairy-tale beginning to season No. 2 than Saturday night's 120-78 victory against non-conference foe Buffalo in front of a packed house at the DuBois Area Middle School. The performance was a dominant showing for the new-look Dream under first-year head coach Matthew Stoey while starting their venture into the North American Basketball League (NABL). And, the Dream wasted little time showing which team was the best on the court, as they raced out to a commanding 34-10 lead after the opening 12 minutes. Newcomers DeOndre Terrell and Hasiin Dixon led that impressive start with nine and eight points, respectively, in the opening quarter. The duo were two of seven Dream players to reach double figures on the night. DuBois never looked back from there, pushing the lead to 28 points (64-36) at the half before pulling away even more in the fourth en route to the 42-point victory. Hasiin Dixon led the way with a game-high 33 points, dropping in eight or more points in each quarter. He finished with a triple-double, recording 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Teammate Cory Callejas (6'4''-G, college: Marywood) scored 20, while player/owner Albert Varacallo followed with 17 points. Terrell (13), David I. Banks Sr. (11), Sam Roselli (10) and Trey Johnson (10) also reached double figures.
