Undefeated Pharaohs back home to face divisional rival - Apr 17, 2017

The Southern Illinois Pharaohs return home Saturday for a divisional game against the Huntsville (Alabama) Force. The Pharaohs (2-0), one of more than 10 expansion teams in the North American Basketball League, won their second game in franchise history last weekend at Indianapolis. The Pharaohs, led by Vernon Lewis' 24 points and 14 rebounds, beat the Diesels of the Premier League, 115-95. Huntsville beat the Music City Kings, a team the Pharaohs beat by 46 points in their season opener, by five, 95-90. The Force lost their only game of the season at home to the Atlanta Show, 138-118. The Show are the defending NABL champions. Southern Illinois and the Birmingham (Alabama) Vulcans are currently tied at 2-0 atop the East Conference's North Division. Huntsville and Music City are the other teams in the division.

Admirals keep the perfect record - 8 days ago
Admirals keep the perfect record at the NABL West Coast Conference. Last night they overcame SB Battle 115-85 for a 5-0 record. SB Battle meanwhile fell at 1-5 record at the bottom of the standings. Force meanwhile took a 10-3 record on top of East Conference-North after a 139-115 win over Pirahnas. Wolverine outscored Knigts 120-80 in the West Conference matchup.   [read more]
San Antonio Lions take 8-1 record on top - 20 days ago
S.Antonio Lions took an 8-1 record on top after the win over Knights 100-80. Earlier they overcame DFW United 142-133. The latter meanwhile posted a 105-94 win over Aztecs on June 4th. Vulcans meanwhile overcame Pirahnas 123-85 to take a 7-4 record, while Pirahnas fell at 1-9. Pharaohs are with 6-1 record beating Kings 98-62.   [read more]
Defending champions continue their winning streak - 1 month ago
Defending Champions Atlanta Show continue their their winning streak. They remain unbeaten and 5-0 on the season. In the latest game they smashed Panama City 163-97. DFW United meanwhile outscored Alamo City 130-112 and S.Antonio beat Austin Knights 141-126. In another games Music City overcame Savannah 119-97 and Huntsville edged RDC Vulcans 117-111.   [read more]
