Florida Spartans announce its new website into the basketball community. 'We are proud to enhance our product and build for the new going into the 2016 season' said CEO Benjamin Mireles. 'Its an important transition and something I felt we needed to bring in order for our program to really benefit from and having a fresh look just follows direction as a fresh product'. They have had the same website for nearly 4 years and thought it was time for fresh start to a bigger and brighter future for minor-league professional basketball. the team has been apart of the CBDL until recently, when both the CBDL and the NABL merged to form an important dynasty to bringing the meaning of minor-league professional basketball back. The leagues new that this would be a challenge for the first season as a merger but knows within its new fresh look and bringing in teams to follow the same direction that it would bring more attention to solid and professional platform for minor-league athletes. 'We look forward to a new year and branding our team as one of the most elite, honest, and professional organizations around' said CEO Benjamin Mireles.

The Chautauqua Hurricane (3-2, 1-1) defeated the Dubois Dream, 105-94, in local semi-pro basketball, Sunday. 'I thought that we came out pretty strong on the first quater, but they withstood out first run and overtook the lead in the second quarter,' Jerome Moss.
