North American Basketball League is moving. The league is taking a strong direction as they are looking to implement and looking to become the ONLY Minor-League is the US to use a training and development program for all its teams. "Its important to our players to have equal opportunity in every city and we need all our teams to offer the same programs as the next" said Co-Owner Ben Mireles. "Ive talked with many players and they are excited to have opportunity to develop as a professional to prepare themselves for the next level an not just go to a team to play basketball". Many people are taking notice that the league and its teams are looking to bring back the meaning behind the game as well as sharing the sports and entertainment opportunities to the youth and their communities. Currently the league is looking to having all schedules complete by this weekend and will announce all official team rosters by April 15th. The teams are getting read for a big season and a lot of solid competition from players reaching from D-1 experience all the way to D-League and International players. "We believe this league can be one of the most competitive leagues around as players begin to realize they need more than just talent and a team to play on to be seen respectfully" said Mireles. "as more players come here, they will see the difference in the professional, honest and direct approach to bring them into a team compared to a team just saying "hey you got some talent, want to play?" So this season should be interesting with more players playing for something instead of nothing and this should be one of the most competitive leagues in the US and we will see when tip off begins April 30, 2016.
