The Garland Hoyas has officially changed its name to Dallas Hoyas. The team was first started in 2015 and has been very successful in its inauguration year. The organization was able to secure 3 sponsorships and a lot of support within the community within it's first year. The management stated that the name change was because there were so much support throughout the season from everyone all over the metroplex that we wanted to have a team representative of our city. We look forward to becoming a stronger minor league organization giving Dallas fans amazing basketball and players the opportunity to go overseas and to get opportunities in DLeague. We have now chosen to join a bigger league, NABL (North American Basketball League), that will give our team a bigger schedule and more opportunities. We hope that the fans continue to support our organization.
