The CBDL announces it has officially merged with another league forming the NABL to create one of the most stable, most reliable, and most professionally organizations around. "We know how much it means to our players to succeed in this industry and we wanted to initiate a partnership in the NABL who had the same direction and format as we did" said former CBDL CEO and current Partner of the NABL Benjamin Mireles. "This is an exciting move for all of here to build a bigger league with an additional 8 teams bringing this league to a 16 team league across 8 states with much more opportunity for more competitive basketball across the south central and southeast region". The league will continue the partnership with 805 stats as their live streaming and stats programmer, as well as working on the development of a new league website currently. They will continue building relationships across the country to help build this brand accordingly. Now that this league is the NABL would it be better than the CBDL? The answer.... Its not about having a name of a league to be successful, its about building a brand which teams and players alike can be respected and the CBDL had done a great job with doing just that. The honesty, discipline, professionalism, and respectability which the CBDL had, will continue with the NABL. Training and development will continue to be the direction of the league and having all its teams follow the same protocol and guidelines to be able to compete. "The NABL will be a brand which will represent minor-league professional basketball basketball giving players a second chance at building a career in the game we love" said Mireles. "We see many players who has an age issue being 27-28-29 without any true professional experience and it needs to change". They hope to do that here with the NABL bringing in former collegiate, international and D-League players looking to sharpen their skills as well as developing as an athlete and a professional. For more information for those interested bringing a team may contact the Commissioner of the league Mr. Johnson or Players who may be interested in participating in the league may contact the league owners.
