The Central Basketball Development League have announced the arrival of another prominent team within the league for the 2016 season. The Tennessee Sting will be playing this season and will bring a very professional ownership group with Brandon Bell who is also a WBCBL womens with the Hornets. The team is located in Nashville, Tennessee. "We are only looking for serious and dedicated players ONLY and must be 19 years or older" said owner Brando Bell. "Our mission is to provide highly competitive basketball for all players with the competition level ranges from former College players, former NBA, and current & former International players and we are competing with the CBDL which have built a networking relationship with professional international basketball scouts and agents to broaden the possibility of higher-level professional jobs being offered". This is a great addition to an already strong foundation of teams who are all looking to excel in the minor-league profession. With the commitment to professionalism, integrity, respect, and presentation of the teams, the owners see the leagues platform as of the most well represented leagues around. "This league does not hide positive or negative things which go on here as we write on everything that goes on here" said CEO Mireles. "Its up to us to show that things happen and NO LEAGUE is perfect but as long as the league knows about a problem and finds a way to fix the issue at hand, then that is a true organization which is here for the players and its fans". The league will continue to offer an honest approach to its teams and players without giving false implications of how good or better its league is. The CBDL is one of the top level organizations looking to promote REAL professional athletes to the D-League, the NBA, and Internationally. "Its important for people to know that we are not here for us. We are here for the players and with the league building a brand of reliability and professionalism, our teams will all be treated equal". Which means, if a team does not have the financial support to support the programs which the league offers, then they will not be able to participate. Its about uniformity here and more teams and leagues are realizing that it is the cornerstone of building a professional organization. Tennessee has seen the progress and has now joined the league for those reasons.

Hurricane edge Jackals, 102-99, to grab 1st place - 1 day ago
In a game as important as any all season long, the Chautauqua Hurricane came through with its best performance of the season. The Chautauqua Hurricane defeated the Jamestown Jackals, 102-99, in an NABL Northeast basketball game at Brocton Central School. The Hurricane (6-3, 5-0 at home) led early on, jumping out to a 19-11 lead after a dunk by Marcus Feagin capped off seven straight points of his own. Chautauqua finished the first quarter with a 26-17 advantage over the rival Jackals - a...   [read more]

Jamestown Jackals Leverage Dedicated Volunteers, Small Fan Base To Stay Afloat - 1 month ago
As the Jamestown Jackals continue its third season in the city, several team volunteers tell us they're working hard to establish a broader fan base. ' We are very excited to see what we can bring to the city in exchange for the love they (the City) give to us,' said Aryol Prater. 'We have all come together for the sole purpose of bringing the City the best entertainment possible.' The Jackals play in the North American Basketball League, which was founded in 2016 and features several tea...   [read more]
