Terrell Williams (190-PG-90, college: Lincoln, MO) (terrellwilliams00@gmail.com) current player of Gateway Steam (MPBA, starting five) gave an interview:

Why you decided to be a pro player.

I decided to be a pro player because of the passion I have for the game and all the hard work I put into it. Nothing else makes me as happy as playing ball

There are many players without a job fighting for the same spots, how hard is to wait for your ideal offer and not take the first that comes up considering that the next one may not come soon.

The job market is very competitive and I have yet to receive my ideal offer so I remain patient and try to put myself in positions to where I can land those offers that I want

Which was the best game you had in your career so far?

The best game in my career so far has nothing to do with stats, since I left for college my mom hasn't been able to see me play but this year she was able to come watch me and the joy she had stands out more than any statistical career high I've had.

Tell us your strong point and your weakness in your game.

My strong points would be shooting and defending both on the ball and help my weak point would be over passing or being too unselfish

Which player was the hardest opponent to play against?

The hardest opponents I've had so far would be both Dane Miller and Jerrold Brooks

Tell about the best teammates you had so far.

I've had a lot of good teammates but the ones who stand out are Pierre DeClue Terrance Whiters and Jake Anderson all because they played the big brother role helping me not only on the court but off and different things to look out for in this profession. They never let me slack or get complacent. I think it's rare and a blessing for young players to have guys around that actually care about your career and want to see you do well.

Which coach you want to thank because he made you better player.

Two coaches I would want to thank would be my last two coaches Lawrence Moten and Durrell Robinson. They both were player coaches and allowed us to play our games. Both had confidence in me which led to me having more confidence in myself.

Role player in a big team or star in a smaller one?

I honestly don't mind either role as long as it ends with winning. I don't care what role I have if I'm losing I'm not going to be happy.

Which is your favorite basketball shoe? Which one you wear now?

My favorite shoe would be the Kobe 6 but right now I'm wearing the Kyrie 1

What plans you have for the future?

Now i want to try in a team from Spain or Germany, i know that i can play there if i have the chance. I work hard now so to be ready for any opportunity.
For the future when i retire I plan on having youth leagues doing camps and having AAU teams just to give kids in my area something more then what I had growing up.

The Midwest Professional Basketball Association 2017 player combine, scheduled for November 20 in suburban Chicago, has been canceled.
