Last week, Aaron Holmes posted career highs in both points and rebounds (28 pts. and 22 rebs.). Holmes dominated from the first minute to the last minute of the game in the Airstrikers win against the Indiana Dream.

Holmes was unstoppable on both ends of the floor hitting 5-10 from behind the arc; while having a field day on the glass by limiting the Dreams from getting offensive rebounds; Holmes posted 18 defensive rebounds.

Holmes opened up the perimeter game shooting 100% in the post dominating everything the Indiana Dream through at him. Holmes dished out 5 assist while taking care of the ball only turning it over once.

This week Joe Joe Thomasson (6'4''-G-93) from the Dayton Airstrikers dominated the Indiana Fury for the battle of first place in the east. (148-126).

Thomasson came off the bench and tied his career high (35 pts.) while shooting 12-21 from the field. Thomasson showed his passing ability dishing out 7 ast. and his rebounding ability grabbing 8 rebs.
Thomasson has stamped his name on the defensive end having a block party swatting 4 shots and was a thief in the night with 3 steals. This is Thomassons 2nd east player of the week honors.

The Dayton Airstrikers will play next at home July 2nd, 2016 at the Vandalia Recreational Center against the 3rd place Hamilton Heroes. Start time is 7:30 p.m.
