Week 6 of the MBL West season found a new team joining the league, the Lincoln Lions, who put on the game of the week. The Lions took the Indiana Dream into double overtime taking the victory 116-111. The Lions move to 1-0 while the Dream fall to 0-6.

In other action the Minnesota Rangers defeated the Cedar Valley Court Kings 93-90. Leading the way for the Rangers was Rochester Rogers (6'3''-G-87, college:Missouri Valley) who dropped in 18 pts. and added 8 rebs. For the Court Kings Marvin Singleton (6'6''-F-93, college: N.Iowa) led all scorers with 23 pts. and also had 8 rebs. The Rangers go to 3-2 while the Court Kings are now 2-3.

In the battle for Chicago the Fury took out the Clovers 140-131. A trio of scorers led the way for the Fury. Terrell Thomas (5'5''-PG) dropped in 30, while Johnathan Mills had 29 and Andre Muse (6'5''-G-86, college: Quincy) added 26 for the 4-1 Fury.

In the final game of the weekend the Minnesota Broncos traveled to Milwaukee to battle the Storm. The Storm, on a roll, took the game 120-106 to move to 2-3. The Broncos are now 2-3 on the season as well. Chris McHenry once again led the Storm. He had 32 pts. and 12 rebs. to pave all players. <<>><<>>
