Dayton Air Strikers (4-0) @ Indians Fury (3-1)

Here are 2 of the top teams in the MBL who have been at the top of their game, and in Indiana this weekend they will be fighting for first in the division.

With the back to back player of the week in Zach Payton (6'5''-G/F, college: Redlands CC) , The Fury have been on point early in the season, winning 3 straight, in which Payton has spearheaded the success.

He dropped 43 in his last game, leading the Fury to a win.
The Air Strikers, who were the top team in the MBL Poll, won easily 132- 96 last week, to grab their 4th win of the season,to stat at the top of the league.

Devaughn Buntyn (6'4''-F-91) , the former Air Striker, will be back and ready to go as he joins a team that has been smacking teams down all season.

While both teams like to push the tempo the keys to this game will be simple; which team plays the better D? Who shoots the better 3?
Can anyone stop Zach Payton?

Hamilton Heroes (2-2) vs Northern Indy Monarchs (1-3)

Hamilton has had a decent run so far this season, up until last week.
Led by guard Dwight Johnson (6'5''-G-93, college: Wilmington, OH), he's averaging 20 Ppg. and 6 Apg.

Northern Indiana will be at home and want to get back in the W column. Both teams are coming off a loss, so expect a great game.
The Monarchs have the leading rebounder in the league,Julian Thompson (6'7''-F) 23 Rpg. Can he help carry his Monarchs to a big w?

CourtKings rallied to win in OT - 6 days ago
The Cedar Valley CourtKings needed a little extra time, but the two-time defending Midwest Basketball League champions found a way to stay undefeated with a 125-116 overtime win over the Chicago Legends Saturday. With 1.9 seconds left, Raijon Kelly (6'4''-G-93, college: Angelo St.) was fouled while attempting a three-pointer and Cedar Valley trailing by four. After making his first two, Kelly missed his third intentionally allowing Johnny Jackson (6'9''-C) to grab the rebound, pass it to...   [read more]

CourtKings fight off Minnesota Lakers, 122-113 - 18 days ago
The one thing that Cedar Valley Court Kings coach Michael Mohlis has not done since taking over the top job is lose. Mohlis took full reign of the CourtKings last year and finished with a 10-0 record and a championship. So far this season, his squad remains undefeated at 4-0. But Sunday night, that mark was threatened by the visiting Minnesota Lakers. Trailing most of the game, the CourtKings rallied late and pulled off a 122-113 Midwest Basketball League victory over the Lakers at the Ce...   [read more]

The Cedar Valley CourtKings (2-0), riding a 30 game win streak, entered the evening after a 118-91 victory over the Rochester Roadrunners last weekend. For the Minnesota Broncos (2-1), they split two games against T.C. Elite a week ago. For both squads, this game provided extra motivation as the chance to take over f...   [read more]
