Four weeks into the Midwest Basketball League season and we have our first repeat Player of the Week winner - Zach Payton (6'5''-G/F, college: Redlands CC).

Payton earned the honor after his play in Week 2 and after posting a triple-double last weekend for the Indiana Fury earned the accolade once again. The 6'5″ wingman scored a team high 28 points while adding 22 rebounds and 13 assists guiding Indiana to a 132-126 victory over Northern Indiana Monarchs.

In the West Division the Chicago Fury improved to 2-0 this season and for the second-straight week see their player honored. While John Taylor (27 points), Andre Muse (6'5''-G-86, college: Quincy) (25 points) and Juan Brown (6'3''-F, college: Kishwaukee CC) (21 points) all scored more, forward Jonathan Mills (6'5''-F, college: Cal Lutheran) all around game helped the Fury remain undefeated. Mills finished with a stat line of 18 points, grabbed 25 rebounds and had two blocked shots in the win against Cedar Valley.
