Page-Dynamo claimed the second consecutive LBQ title. They overcame Revolution 79:68 in the Final on Sunday. Dynamo-Page looked dominant right from the start. They raced to a 38:30 halftime lead. Revolution worked hard to deny the deficit in the second half. But Page-Dynamo used all of their experience to come out as winners at the end. Quaid George (5'9''-G) was named the MVP after the game.
The awards were handed out by the League at the end of the season. Samuel Audet-Sow (6'6''-F-80) was trumped the Player of the Year. Patrick Perrotte (6'1''-F) won the Newcomer of the Year award, while Bobby Miller of Revolution was named the Coach of the Year.   



Royal celebrate the title - 1 Year ago
Royal have been crowned the LBQ champions. They celebrated the victory in the Grand Final on Sunday. Royal held off Capitale-Nationale 80:70 to earn the trophy. Royal jumped to an early lead. They posted a 42:31 halftime advantage. Royal maintained the cushion throughout the second half and raced to the victory. Royal advanced in the Grand Final beating NDG 81:75 in Saturday's semifinal clash. Capitale-Nationale prevailed against Thetford Mines 71:63 in another semifinal encounter.   [read more]
Round 7: Capitale-Nationale keeps a leadership position - 1 Year ago
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Capitale-Nationale as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Capitale-Nationale defeated 3rd placed Monteregie in Montreal, QC 77-73. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Monteregie at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Round 6: #1 NDG is defeated by Monteregie - 1 Year ago
What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked NDG (6-3) in Montreal, QC on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Monteregie (4-2) 98-91. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of NDG. Monteregie have a solid three-game winning streak.
