Royal is leading the Elite LBQ ladder at the moment. The team claimed six wins in 8 games played in the season so far. Royal shot down Revolution 106:87. Charles Fortier (6'4''-G/F-79) stepped up with impressive 41 points to pace the league leaders.
Next day Royal faced Page-Dynamo. It was a tough battle from start to finish. Page-Dynamo claimed the fifth victory in the season beating the league leaders 97:96. Manix Auriantal (6'2''-G-80, college: NYIT) stepped up with 26 points for Page-Dynamo. Greishe Clerjuste (6'2''-G) netted 22 points in the win. Samuel Audet-Sow (6'6''-F-80) answered with game-high 35 points for Royal.
Jaguars snatched a 72:71 win over Monteregie to improve at 5-2 record. Youssef Ouharig led the winners with 19 points. Monteregie responded with 20 points from Rodrigo Imperador (6'5''-F).   

Royal celebrate the title - 1 Year ago
Royal have been crowned the LBQ champions. They celebrated the victory in the Grand Final on Sunday. Royal held off Capitale-Nationale 80:70 to earn the trophy. Royal jumped to an early lead. They posted a 42:31 halftime advantage. Royal maintained the cushion throughout the second half and raced to the victory. Royal advanced in the Grand Final beating NDG 81:75 in Saturday's semifinal clash. Capitale-Nationale prevailed against Thetford Mines 71:63 in another semifinal encounter.   [read more]
Round 7: Capitale-Nationale keeps a leadership position - 1 Year ago
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Capitale-Nationale as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Capitale-Nationale defeated 3rd placed Monteregie in Montreal, QC 77-73. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Monteregie at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Round 6: #1 NDG is defeated by Monteregie - 1 Year ago
What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked NDG (6-3) in Montreal, QC on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Monteregie (4-2) 98-91. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of NDG. Monteregie have a solid three-game winning streak.
