The No. 7-ranked Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team picked up a Mid-Florida Conference win Wednesday night, defeating Daytona State College 70-62 on the road. The McLennan Highlanders moved to 16-1 on the season with a 90-71 win over the North Lake Blazers Saturday afternoon at The Highlands. Xaiver Armstead (6'5''-G) put McLennan on the board with a long shot from the top of the key, just shy of the 3-point line. Blinn College men;s basketball had to shake off a little rust from the holiday break, but came back to defeat the Houston Gladiators, 71-69, Tuesday night in the Kruse Center.
