Brookdale Outplayed By Elgin Spartans In Quarterfinals At National Tournament - Mar 17, 2017

The Brookdale men's basketball team was outplayed by the Spartans of Elgin Community College in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA national tournament, 82-53. The Jersey Blues started the game flat and were down at the half, 46-25. Brookdale cut the lead to nine points with about 10 minutes remaining in the game but could not get over the hump after that. Elgin kept swishing unanswered three-pointers. Sophomore center Jordan Little (6'9''-G/F) led the Blues offense with 18 points and eight rebounds. The team returns to action in the consolation bracket against Nassau Community College at noon on Friday, March 17th at UCR Regional Sports Center in Rochester, MN.

Reivers conclude first semester home schedule with win - 3 days ago
#22 Iowa Western returned home to Reiver Arena Tuesday night (12/12) after three straight road contests to play Kansas City-Kansas for the final home game of the first semester schedule. Tigers Fall to State Fair 81-78 at Home - 10 days ago
The MCC men's basketball team hosted State Fair Community College Tuesday in the Student Activity Center on the Marshalltown Community College campus. Bulldogs dominate Crusaders JV - 17 days ago
DaJuan Moorer had a double-double and three other Mississippi Gulf Coast players scored in double figures in a 97-75 win against the William Carey JV in Hattiesburg. "I thought we played pretty well for the most part," Gulf Coast coach Wendell Weathers said. "We were pretty solid on offense, and our defense was good.
