The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team lost a tight road game 77-71 against Indian River State College Tuesday night. The Titans, who fell to 16-2 overall and 2-1 in the Southern Conference, were up 41-30 at the half but the Pioneers stormed back in the second half to improve to 3-0 in the conference. Kareem Brewton (6'3''-G) led the Titans with 22 points while Ahmed Ali (5'10''-PG) finished with 19 in the game. The Titans will be back in action Saturday afternoon when they travel to ASA Miami who is also 2-1 in the conference.

The Central Community College men's basketball team lost at Raider Fieldhouse on Tuesday night to visiting Iowa Western Community College, 88-65. The Raiders played tough in the first half and led 39-35 over the Reivers. However, IWCC picked up steam in the second half and outscored CCC, 53-26.
