After three months of regular season play, the IBA Fall season playoffs are here! The top four teams will meet at the KVPD RecCenter in Kankakee, Ill. the weekend of December 13-14 in a single-elimination tournament.

Five-time IBA Champion Kankakee County Soldiers (5-6) are the fourth seed after an up-and-down campaign. The Soldiers won their season opener before dropping their next three games. After a four-game win streak Kankakee County ended the regular season losing their last three. The host team of the event, the Soldiers may find winning a sixth title difficult.

Regular season champion Schenectady Legends (10-0) feature a veteran squad and have yet to lose. Co-captains E.J. Gallup (6'4''-G-81, college: Co.Carolina) and Lloyd Johnson (5'11''-G-85) lead the Legends outside the paint while forward Clayton Longmire (6'7''-F-84, college: St.Rose, NY) has been consistent all season. A mid-season addition of seven-footer center Brad Sheehan (7-0-C-88, college: Georgia Tech) has provided a dominating defensive presence. The Legends are seeking their first IBA title, losing in the 2012 Spring championship game.

St.Louis Trotters (10-1) sat on top of the league much of the fall season before suffering a 107-101 defeat to the International Racers on November 22. A balanced attack has the veteran Trotters poised to win their first league title after finishing runner-up in the 2012-13 Fall season.

Third seeded Kenosha Ballers (8-4) are also seeking a first championship and will get an opportunity for some payback after losing both regular season matchups to St. Louis. The two played on November 1 with host Trotters coming away with a 134-126 win. The rematch on November 23 in Kenosha was a thriller with St. Louis earning a 143-142 victory. The Ballers led the IBA in team scoring averaging 137.3 ppg.
